Ahane U14's - a busy week !!!

Following on from the visit to Bishopstown GAA Club in Cork on Saturday 17th June where the U14 hurlers had 3 games at the Feile Hurling Provincial Finals day, the U14 football team (with many of the players who played on Saturday) hosted St. Senan’s last evening with a home league fixture in Mackey Park. The footballers put in a very spirited and committed effort over the course of the game and thoroughly deserved their win on the night. Well done to all 19 players on a fine performance last evening - the football training is paying off – more to do but there was a big improvement in the teamwork, passing and skills. Well done to Ciaran, Sean, Colm, Stephen, Jack, Kyle, Shane, John, Liam, Tommy, Gavin, Craig, Cormac, Alex, Conor, James, Nathan, Evan and Donnacha.  A big thank you to the U12 players who are playing an active role in supporting the U14 group.

The U14 hurlers have an away league game to Southside Gaels on Wednesday 21st June and we hope that the team can record a second league win this week in the U14 grade.
