The Ahane U14 hurlers have an away league game against Southside Gaels earlier this evening. The hurlers came away with a great win in Claughaun and put in super effort scoring 2-13 on the night with some fine scores in the first half followed by a very workmanlike performance especially in the second half to take the win. The standard of hurling was very good and the team have benefited from the trip to Bishopstown GAA Club in Cork on Saturday last where they played 3 games at the Feile Hurling Provincial Finals day. The win for the hurlers tonight followed on from the U14 football win on Monday evening. Well done to the 17 players in the squad tonight : Cormac, Stephen, Gavin R, Nathan, Colm, Evan, John, Eddie, Liam, Jack, Shane, Gavin C, Ciaran, Donnacha, Will, Kyle and Alex.
